In order to meet the requests of all committees within SGA along with other clubs and organizations, the Publicity Committee is instilling the following rules and regulations. These rules will ensure that the publicizing process runs smoothly and efficiently for everyone.
The following are the new rules and regulations of the Publicity Committee; below is specifically for other committees to follow in publicizing SGA. Please note that there are changes from last year.
1. All publicity requests MUST be in the form of writing/email or submitted via the
Graphic Design Request Form. The Publicity Committee Reserves the Right to either Deny your request, or Require you to fill out a Graphic Design Request Form.
2. The Graphic Design Request Form MUST be submitted 2 weeks before you want the design completed NOT 2 weeks before the event is to happen.
3. Whether you request a design, make one yourself, or make a homemade poster, IT MUST BE APPROVED BY THE PUBLICITY COMMITTEE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
4. Change from Last Year Last Year all Committees were sent their logos to use however they wished. This year No Committee may use their logo without approval from the publicity committee, therefore the Publicity Committee will retain the logos for use.

This is not permanent and can be changed each semester. If you are making your own designs please try to incorporate the marketing phrase.
6. If you make you own design the Publicity Committee can view and edit the design to better suit the unity of the SGA logos and marketing scheme.
For clubs trying to obtain publicity the following rules apply:
1. You are required to fill out a Graphic Design Request Form - The Graphic Design Request Form needs to be filled out at least 2-3 weeks before you wish the design completed. You must also schedule a meeting with the Publicity Committee.
2. You are required to meet with the Publicity Committee to further discuss what you wish to advertise- preferably the next meeting directly after you submit the Graphic Design Request Form.
3. SGA's Logo MUST be allowed to be on the Design.
4. You may bring your own ideas of how you wish the design to look and may have a hand in the editing process, but once the design has been made final, No More Edits May Be Made.
Please note, The Publicity Committee reserves the right to Deny your request due to time constraints, scheduling issues, and other assorted issues. However if the Publicity Committee accepts your request, your design will be done in a timely professional manner.
