Operations Management (BUS 309)

A study of the functional responsibilities, concepts and tools of operations and supply chain management in manufacturing, distribution and service organizations. The topics covered include: global sourcing; lean supply chains; strategic capacity planning; collaborative working relationships among operations, marketing, finance, and engineering management; and continuous improvement programs.
