This course is aimed at helping students understand the evolving media landscape in the United States. It is aimed at giving students a broader perspective on the challenges and opportunities that journalists face in a digital-first environment. Students will learn how digital startups have disrupted the print and broadcast industries over the past decade and they'll get a sense for the future of the news media.
