This course is intended to be accessible to students without a strong mathematical background, as no concepts beyond basic algebra are required. Topics covered in this course include confidence intervals and hypothesis testing for comparing two samples, contingency tables and chi-square tests, analysis of variance (both one-way and two-way), simple and multiple linear regression methods with emphasis on inference, and nonparametric statistical methods with applications.
